ABSolute Cube Solver

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information ABSolute Cube Solver accesses or processes, why it is used, and what choices are available to you.

Effective date: 17 October 2026 · Developer: AbsoluteDevs

1. Overview

ABSolute Cube Solver (“the App”) is developed and operated by AbsoluteDevs (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

We aim to access and process only the information reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, improve, and support the App.

2. Camera and selected photos

The App may request access to your device camera when you choose to scan a Rubik-style cube face. Camera access is used only when you actively select the camera scanning feature.

Captured images are processed on your device to identify cube sticker colors and create a cube state. ABSolute Cube Solver does not intentionally upload these cube images to AbsoluteDevs servers.

Your operating system or supporting libraries may temporarily store an image while it is being captured or processed.

The App may also allow you to choose an existing cube image from your device. On supported Android versions, the system photo picker is used so that the App receives the image you select rather than unrestricted access to your complete media library.

You may deny camera access or cancel photo selection and continue using manual cube entry.

3. Analytics

ABSolute Cube Solver uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used and to improve features, usability, stability, and performance.

The App may record events such as starting a solution, selecting a solving method, starting or completing a solve, choosing manual, camera, or gallery cube input, cube validation results, cube history actions, selected language, and selected theme mode.

Cube photographs are not attached to analytics events.

Firebase may also process technical information such as app or installation identifiers, device and operating-system information, App version, session information, and approximate geographic information derived from network information.

4. Crash reporting and diagnostics

ABSolute Cube Solver uses Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes and serious technical errors.

Crash reports may contain stack traces, device and operating-system information, App version, timestamps, relevant application state, diagnostic information, and installation identifiers used for crash reporting.

This information is used to diagnose problems and improve App stability.

5. Advertising

The free version of ABSolute Cube Solver may display advertisements using Google Mobile Ads, including banner and interstitial ads.

Google advertising services may process information such as IP address, device or advertising identifiers, App interactions, advertisement interactions, diagnostic information, and information used for advertising measurement, security, and fraud prevention.

Where required, the App uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request advertising consent before ads are requested.

Where required by Google, the App also provides a way to review or change advertising privacy choices.

Users with an active Pro entitlement do not receive advertisements from the App.

6. Purchases and Pro access

The App may offer a paid Pro upgrade. Purchases are processed by the applicable platform store, such as Google Play, together with RevenueCat for purchase verification and entitlement management.

ABSolute Cube Solver does not directly collect or store payment card information.

RevenueCat and the applicable store may process purchase or transaction information, product information, entitlement status, store information, and an anonymous App User ID or similar identifier used to associate purchases with the appropriate installation or store account.

The App does not currently require an AbsoluteDevs account.

7. Information stored on your device

The App stores some information locally to provide its features and remember your preferences. This may include:

  • theme and language preferences;
  • tutorial completion status;
  • saved cube solutions;
  • solution progress and in-progress cube/session information;
  • cached App information; and
  • the most recently known Pro entitlement state.

Saved solutions can be cleared using controls provided in the App. Local App data may also be removed by clearing the App’s storage through device settings or uninstalling the App.

8. Internet connectivity

The App may check whether an internet connection is available so that online-dependent functionality can operate and an appropriate offline state can be shown.

Connectivity checks do not intentionally transmit your cube configuration, solution history, photographed cube images, or manually entered cube colors to AbsoluteDevs.

9. Information we do not intentionally collect

ABSolute Cube Solver does not currently require users to provide a name, phone number, contacts, SMS messages, call history, precise GPS location, or government identification information.

The App does not require an AbsoluteDevs user account.

Some third-party services integrated into the App may process technical information as described elsewhere in this policy.

10. Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services for specific functionality, including:

  • Google Firebase — analytics and crash reporting.
  • Google Mobile Ads — advertising.
  • Google User Messaging Platform — advertising consent and privacy choices.
  • Google Play or Apple App Store — App distribution and purchase processing.
  • RevenueCat — purchase verification and Pro entitlement management.

These providers may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms and may process data in countries other than the country where you live.

11. Sharing and sale of information

AbsoluteDevs does not sell personal and sensitive user data.

Information may be transmitted to the service providers described above when necessary to provide analytics, crash reporting, advertising, advertising consent management, purchases, entitlement management, security, or related App functionality.

We may also disclose information where required by applicable law or a valid legal request.

12. Data retention and deletion

Information stored locally by the App generally remains on your device until you remove it using an available App control, clear the App’s data through device settings, or uninstall the App.

Third-party providers such as Google Firebase, Google Mobile Ads, platform stores, and RevenueCat may retain information according to their own retention policies and our configuration of those services.

Because ABSolute Cube Solver does not currently provide an AbsoluteDevs user-account system, there is no App account to delete.

If you have a privacy or deletion request relating to information under the control of AbsoluteDevs, contact us using the details below.

13. Your choices

You can refuse or later revoke camera permission through your device settings.

You can cancel photo selection and use manual cube entry instead.

You can clear saved solutions from the App.

Where applicable, you can review advertising privacy choices through the privacy controls provided in the App.

14. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information processed through ABSolute Cube Solver.

The App limits device permissions and data access to features that need them.

Information transmitted to third-party online services is sent using the security mechanisms provided by those services, including encrypted network connections where supported.

No electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

15. International data processing

Some service providers used by ABSolute Cube Solver operate internationally.

Information processed by those services may therefore be transferred to or processed in countries other than the country where you live, subject to the safeguards and legal mechanisms maintained by the relevant provider and applicable law.

16. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if App features, service providers, or legal requirements change.

When material changes are made, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated.
